Model, singer and actress, Cybill Shepherd is best known for such 70's movies as The Heartbreak Kid and Taxi Driver. Since then she’s gone on to become to win a Golden Globe in the 80’s for Moonlighting.
John Travolta
After stealing our hearts for the first time as Danny in ‘Grease’, John Travolta has managed to stay in the spotlight over the decades, with movies such as ‘Swordfish’, ‘Pulp Fiction’, and ‘Face/Off’ putting him firmly in the Hollywood hall of fame. Most recently he appeared in the Emmy award winning mini series American Crime: The OJ Simpson Story.
Suzanne Somers
Somers followed her starring role in Three's Company with a stint on Step by Step in the 90's. Beyond acting, she’s also a self-help author who has dipped her toe in many different fields. Bo Derek
It was the 1979 movie ’10’ which shot Bo Derek to fame, with that swimsuit and braided hair combo. Guys wanted to date her, and girls wanted to be her but despite becoming a favorite, later movies weren’t well received by critics.

Of course, we all remember Olivia Newton-John from her role in that 70’s classic, ‘Grease’, but did you know that she’s gone on to do some even more impressive things? She’s had a brilliant musical career and has even been classed as one of the world’s best-selling artists of all time.
Mark Harmon
His real name is Thomas Mark Harmon, and he’s best known for being a 70’s star in a wide range of TV shows. Since then he’s become famous for playing Dr. Jack McNeil in ‘Chicago Hope’.
Henry Winkler
If you’ve ever seen ‘Happy Days’, you’ll know who Henry Winkler is. He was Arthur Fonzarelli, otherwise known as Fonzie. He’s been in his fair share of TV shows since, including ‘Drunk History’, ‘Children’s Hospital’, ‘Royal Pains’, and ‘Malcolm in the Middle’.
David Cassidy
He was a big hit with the ladies as one of the biggest male 70’s stars, but the singer, guitarist and songwriter, David Cassidy is also a celebrated TV star with shows such as ‘The Partridge Family’.
Raquel Welch
Not just a 70’s star but a super siren too, Raquel Welch was shot to fame in the 1966 hit, ‘One Million Years B.C.’. She may have only had three lines in the movie but that bikini made her a surefire hit.
Faye Dunaway
Her career started in 1967 with the movie ‘The Happening’, and she’s since gone on to win three Golden Globes, a BAFTA, an Academy Award, and even an Emmy for movies such as ‘Gia’, and ‘Columbo’.
Shaun Cassidy
Not just a singer and an actor, Shaun Cassidy is also a screenwriter, and a creator of TV shows, as well as being a producer too. Most will remember him as the younger brother of fellow 70’s stars hunk, David Cassidy.
Erik Estrada
He’s a cop as well as a voice actor and TV / film actor. It was ‘CHiPs’ that made him famous, and since then he’s gone on to appear in many movies and TV shows, including ‘Drake & Josh’.
Brooke Shields
The child model went on to do great things with her acting career, and it was 1978’s ‘Pretty Baby’ which catapulted her to stardom. She took a break for a while to go back to university, but has wracked up appearances in a string of TV shows and films.
Maureen McCormick
The American actress Maureen McCormick has also become an author and a recording artist in the fifty years she’s been in the limelight, although she’ll always be well recognised from her part in ‘The Brady Bunch’.
Donny Osmond
“And they called it pu-pp-y lo-ooo-ve…” Admit it; you sang it with us. Donny Osmond, one of the Osmond family and group, was a massive hit with the ladies in the 70’s and 80’s, and many of them (just like my mom) are still talking about him.
Lee Majors
He grew to fame in the 60’s to then become a 70’s star, Lee Majors was in ‘The Six Million Dollar Man’ for five years and became somewhat of a pop icon. He’s been in a few things since then, but nothing huge recently.
Mary Tyler Moore
It was the ‘Mary Tyler Moore Show’ which shot this American actress to fame. She’s since gone on to become an Academy Award nominee for the 1980’s movie, ‘Ordinary People’.
Robert Redford
Another 70’s star who’s career started in the 60’s; Robert Redford was in a number of TV shows, and even went on to have movie and Broadway success. He has one movie due out in 2017 – ‘The Discovery’.
Agnetha Faltskog
One fourth of ABBA, Agnetha Faltskog was part of the group who took the world by storm and became one of the best-selling musical artists in history. In the 90’s and early 2000’s, she took a hiatus and has since made a couple of musical comebacks.
Deborah Harry
Blondie frontwoman, Deborah Harry has been a firm favorite over the years, and during the 1970’s and 80’s had a string of musical hits. Since then she’s gone on to star in many TV shows and has had over 60 appearances in films.
Bernadette Peters
With a career that has spanned over 50 years, Bernadette Peters is not just an actress, but a writer of children’s books and a singer these days too. Not only that, she’s appeared in a number of Broadway shows, and has been nominated for a host of awards, even winning a couple.

We all know who Cher is – she’s the woman who hasn’t aged a drop in all the years since she was one of the biggest 70’s stars. Her musical career precedes her, and she’s also gone on to have appearances in hit movies such as ‘Burlesque’.

Ellen won her first Oscar in the 1970’s for Martin Scorsese’s “Alice Doesn’t Live Here Anymore”. She was also nominated for her lead role in The Exorcist. Since then she has done some more stage acting and appeared on the Netflix original, House of Cards!
Carole Kane
Carol made her name in the 1970s in films such as Hester Street and Annie Hall. She also appeared on the television series Taxi in the early 1980s and the Addams Family in 1993, acting as Grandmama Addams.
Rene Russo
A successful fashion model featuring on the likes of Vogue and Cosmopolitan, she moved on to acting, appearing in action films like Lethal Weapon. Since then, she starred in small roles in the movie Thor and alongside Robert DeNiro in The Intern.
Stefania Sandrelli
Acting from the young age of 14, Stefania Sandrelli starred in several Italian movies that were huge hits, including Divorce, Italian Style. She now continues to act but has stepped back from the limelight a little.

Liv Ullmann was all over the movie scene in the seventies. She won a Golden Globe for her work on the film The Emigrants and has since then also received two Academy Award nominations.
Goldie Hawn
Goldie Hawn won her first Oscar at the start of the seventies for the film Cactus Flower. She’s been a household name ever since, starring in many other films. Since then, she’s given birth to two acting legends, one being Kate Hudson and the other Oliver Hudson. She has been in a relationship with Kurt Russell since 1983.

Morgan is most known for playing Jennifer Pace on the soap opera “Search for Tomorrow”. She had the ability to appeal to audiences with her high-class dame act and and her sultry blonde Texas personality.
Marilu Henner
American actress Marilu Henner is best known for her role in Taxi as Elaine O’Connor Nardo on the sitcom Taxi from 1978 to 1983. In recent years she has continued to star in film and TV roles and also scored a role on the popular “Two And A Half Men” TV hit in 2013.
Dolly Parton
Dolly Parton is known worldwide for her country music and big personality, among other things. She dabbled on the film industry as well and starred in blockbuster Steel Magnolias. On May 6, 2016 Parton and her husband renewed their vows in honor of their 50th wedding anniversary.
